(poem written by Soumya )

Me, moving in the crowd

Drizzling all around

They seek refuge, I seek comfort

A hug from rain is better than him

It hides my pain which is brought by him

Oh, a puddle!!

It’s just as filled as my heart is

Concoction of that grey self -

A glimpse of silver cloud in the muddy puddle

Those infant’s eyes, see the the bright side

In the grim dark water which to me shows no shine

Before I can stop there is a SPLASH

It brings a carefree smile with a brown patch

They notice the patch but I don’t care

The brown patch is the medal that I bear

A brown patch is better than none

A patchy journey is better than none

A white sheet attracts them , it attracts me too - but while they try to keep it clean , I paint it with colours despised the most.
