(Poem by Soumya)

I wish for

A life free and bold

Where my spirit can soar and my dreams can unfold.

I wish to

Flying high, wild and free.

Light as a leaf, delicate, not tied down or wary

Attached to my tree, with elasticity

On the branches of life, I find my place,

But I yearn to detach and embrace the space.

To fly high in the clear blue sky,

To spread my wings and let out a sigh.

The tree a  symbol of strength,

holds me, sturdy and true,

Gives me strength and support as I break through.

But I know deep down, in my heart and soul,

That true freedom means letting go of control.

My life’s leaf sways with grace in the breeze

and ultimately Detaches,

It finds its place.

In the wind, it soars with glee,

Free to be, wild and free.

The leaf, so delicate and light,

Floats on the wind, without a fight.

Detached from the tree, it's free,

Living life, wild and carefree.

I dance with the clouds, twirl with the stars,

I am wild and free, no longer behind bars.

The world is my playground, vast and wide,

And I revel in the joy of the wild ride.

I am a leaf, free and light,

Guided by the winds of my own flight.

No longer bound by fears or doubts,

I am a free spirit, singing and shouting out.
