Milestone set!!

Set to have achieved or failed by mark.

Failed to mark - is it?

or marked to fail -is he?

Year after year after year - Months pass

Deadlines lapsed

Pushed to a corner

Lost in the race

A forgotten face

And then - the set milestone achieved

Faded face resurfaced again

Wrinkled faces shine again

Darkened night turned into sunshine

Met that milestone

Achieved probably a little more

Stepped to turn another stone

Set another milestone
